Money issues at work? can anyone answer this?

I am having serious problems with my money at work in the cash drawer. I do not believe anyone is getting in my drawer as that you have to have a code to get into it. Some days I come up short, others over. I think it is my concentration but I try really hard and just rarely come up exactly right. I have been doing this for 9 1/2 years and I never used to mess up this much. What do you think is going on?

First of all slow down. Do you count the money back to people. How organized is your drawer. Here are some tips.

1. Keep all your bills turned the same direction. Faces up all in order.

2. When a person hands you a bill do not put it in the slot lay it on top so see what it is. Keep cash arms up when you pull from them.

3. Count the change out in your head to come up with the total then count it totally back in customers hands.

4. Do you work in a bank? Go to your bank several times and watch how they give back money to you.

5.Go to your manager and ask for help ask them to observe you to see if they can see anything.

This does two things for you. One maybe they might see something to help you and if they think you are stealing this will help ease their mind.

Well i don't know maybe you miscounted , Seems logical seeing as you never have the right amount , i suggest working on your math Lol!
