I'm 13 and I'm looking for ways to make some cash. Babysitting is out of the question because my parents are crazy and so is allowance because I don't want to ask my parents to do it...any ideas? If so, how much should I charge? Keep in mind that I can't drive. DON'T put idk or google. Thanks.

  1. Search online on eBay, Amazon, Etsy, and Craigslist for things that interest you AND seem to sell well. Go to local flea markets, garage sales, and estate auctions and pick up those items. Post them on those sites and sell them.

    1. Show your parents that you have researched what you are interested in selling- so they know you have a plan.

    2. Ask for start up money (remind them it takes money to make money) to buy your first few items.

    3. Have your parents set up a Paypal account so that you can draw your money if people pay that way.

    4. Tell your parents you will pay them off with your profits before anything else, and do it (that way if you need to raise some money later on, they know you are good for it).

    5. Make sure the items are things you know something about. Used video games.

Also- remember that if you have a Bookman's in your area, they will take books, CD's and video games and give you store credit. If you can turn in some items that aren't worth much, and use the store credit to buy things that you can sell for more, that's a good way to go as well.
