From individuals to society, the aim of most of the people is money, the monster. We loose our humanity in the chase of money. Everything has gained in value except human life. Even nations vie with each other in accumulation than in poverty alleviating program mes.

  5. I believe that money is a contributing factor, but the  true culprit is the materialistic items that we must have in order to separate us according to class. This items are achieved only by accumulating  an abundance of cotton or raw processed money, in it's most basic state, which really has no monetary premise at that time.. But when backed by a beaurcatic goverment and a democratic belief that anyone can achieve the american dream.. It definetly has a potential to be defined as the ruler of the  society.

  10. The rat race is frustrating but a way in which our population has been able to expand because of the exchange of goods via a third party so that all goods have a relative worth...  can you suggest a better way a farmer sells 100 eggs over 100 miles?

Yeah,pretty much......but money is one of the reasons that the world doesnt go to war,believe it or not.If we didnt have cash,then different coutries in the world would go all crazy,trying to take whats ours.And factories that make the stuff you buy would go out of business cuz there stuff would sell 2 quickly.....

  17. I agree, concentration of money translates to power, power that an absurdly wealthy person doesn't necessarily have a right to. Hard to justify that in a world with so many starving and suffering, a world that will be lucky to make it through this century.

    Historically, money has been a decisive force since ancient times, but now, with the international reach of faceless corporations, more than ever.

    its so annoying that people can be as rich as h**l, and other people as poor as ne fin.... but money is just a bit of paper, i think if people are dying because of poverty why cant they be given money???

Well, because all the human beings who are around nowadays have grown up in  an environment where everyone knows what money is and what it can get someone, it's understandable as to how things like corruption, greed, slaughter (all of the things that seem to diminish our humanity) run wild nowadays. Human beings have always and will always have the tendency to live the life of "Eat or be eaten" therefore, if they want something, they'll do what it takes to get it, or die trying. (In the sense of material possessions purchasable by money.) A lot of people say "F**k everyone else, give me the money!" Greed is just redirected and channeled, in a way, through money. If money weren't around, people would just kill for and steal everything they want, like they once did when the human race first came into existence. Of course, back then, no one cared because they didn't spend their entire day thinking about how great and yet corrupt they could make society by implementing a value on things.
