Money transfers hsbc to loyds tsb?

hey i want to transfer some money into my freinds account and i was just wondering how long it would take to transfer from my bank account to his i have an hsbc bank account and he has a loyds tsb one

Assuming that you and your friend have online banking, he would need to give you his account information to do a transfer which should take about one business day.
