  1. Neither.

  2. this is like asking me if I would rather have a moldy lump of dog poo or be rich for generations.....

  3. You forgot the perfectly normal situation. Its easy and a good thing to have both money and religion. Why can't that be a catagory?

  4. Religion has more lasting value then money.

  5. I am not religious, and I want the money!

    :)

I have no reason to believe in religion - it has rules, collects profits, and preaches doctrine without a factual basis. Oh, and did I mention that it sucks up an extra hour on Sunday?

Money is useful in any market-based society.

P.S. I would rather avoid religion, rich or poor!

  6. i would rather have Jesus Christ

  7. With my religion I do not have to choose, and soon it will make sure all, believers or not, will have an acceptable standard of living. But since I do not really like the word religion, I will say my faith. And that is what it is, the Baha'i Faith.

I suppose you are thinking of Abraham Maslow. Or along those lines. At one time I would have picked the money. No longer. Even without money I can survive, and my faith can and does give me things money cannot buy and last much longer than this life. I will take my faith.

  8. Religion. I actually kinda have the no money part of the equation.

  9. I'm atheist and if my family was wise enough, I'd go for the money. Trust funds and college for my kids, etc. etc. I'd want the best for my kids and family.

I guess the people who choose their God is selfish then, huh?

  10. Religion, that's priceles.

  11. Hmmm!  Money is always a necessity, unfortunately without money is almost impossible to have a living. In other hands without Religion you might live an empty and confused life. So i rather have both and a normal life with enough money to survive as a middle class citizen. Religion and faith will help you deal with the  difficulties you might face through your life.

  12. The Lord give you the money and the Lord can take it away.

    It ALL belongs to him

  13. Religion

"Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life." 1 Thimothy 6:17-19

"Remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth..." Deuteronmy 8:18

"Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the reghtous will thrive like a green leaf." Proverbs 11:28

  14.    Religion is useless, it's faith in Christ that matters. Obviously I would rather save my immortal soul than live well on earth.

  15. Rich or poor. Both are economic terms which have no value to me.

What does having the biggest bank account in the world buy you in the end, except the fanciest coffin in the cemetery?

I'll take my treasure in Heaven, thank you.

  16. I will take the money.  I don't need religion because I do not follow man.  The Supreme God is NOT a religion.  Follow God and leave the man alone.

  17. Money...  You do not a religion to know and love your God / Gods,

but in this world you need money to survive .

  18. i'd rathe have religion. everyone needs something to believe in.

  19. I would MUCH rather have my faith in the Lord than a bunch of money.  I know that the lord has and will continue to provide all of my needs in this life.

  20. How about I take the money and give all of it to charities... I think my salvation is worth a few million dollars to the needy wouldn't you say?
