Monkey doll...cant find the name?

my girlfirnd have seen a doll or puppet in a movie or tv series, it is a monkey doll, with long limbs and a green maybe tshirt. im getting curios by now which monkey is it, as she said she saw that kind of monkey doll in several tv series or movies....maybe is a ticpical american puppet?? dunno...if anyone can help me out...

Long legs and arms that velcro around a persons waist and shoulder?  There were puppets like these popular in the late 80s.  Tons of companies made them and the bodies varied.
