Mono???? Could i have it?

My best friend was in the hospital with mono and i went to go see her and the next day (today) when i woke up i had a sore throat. could this be related? thanks

Possible.. Just call your doc and ask for a mono culture. It's not totally likely unless you drank from the same cup or something though..

I would think not as the incubation period for mononucleosis is generally 28 to 42 days. You probably just had some postnasal drip or something during the night that caused your sore throat when you woke up.
