  1. If your ever going to use a monologue to audition for Disney, it cant be one your wrote for yourself.

it has to be a professional one.

im sure you could find a book full of monologues from famous movies and from books.

  2. If your that talented stay away from disney, with your talent do movies or theater stuff, I mean if its your dream or something then go for it but if you can sing dance and act, you will find movies and theater shows waiting for you

  3. Disney Channel acting sucks, so you don't need try too hard. Actually, then again, you do, because every actor on that channel forces it badly and overacts. Take Hillary Duff or those twins on the Suite Life. Their acting is terrible and forced. You just gotta be cute, or something. Ham it up!

  4. ok the question you want to ask yourself is this - do you want to be an actor or do you want to be a mechandise item? disney teenie boppers arent much for acting careers coz you end up only doing stuff with disnye coz you becoem one of their faces. I'm a real actor darlin, I'm irish and I'm doing quite well without the presure of being marketed to death. but if thats what you really want.....god knows why...ok you monologueS - and thats plural, should be the following : Two dramatic pieces, two comedic pieces and the very least one Shakespeare (I have 3) you should choose one of Juliets pieces - she was 14 ya know! and have a DISNEY monologue too....a bit from Lilo, or that, an animated one. do not - repeat- do not take a piece from one of the running shows atm, have them all ready to do at a moments notice. and always always be polite and bubbily, but SMART. always have something inteligent to say, no one hires stupid actors. not even disney. And writing you own piece? forget about it, whoever told you that was a good idea obviously has never gotten a call back. Casting Directors like well known stuff that way they can really critic yoru performance. also, you say you've been an extra? well i hope you were being chatty and getting to know as many people as possible - but never be a nusance and never ever get in the way.

Hope this was of some help. I know its a long answer but i know what I'm talking about, I'm a real actor darling, and i hope that soom day you will be too. Work hard every single day. thats the only way, luck is non-existant, if you work you get what you want. if you haven't got it yet you just havennt worked hard enough or long enough.

    Break a leg!

  5. What company are you going through? It depends on the company. Also it depends on whereabouts you live because a lot of people are only hiring in specific areas.
