I don't much about them can somebody give me a good definition?

& also..

how would I begin to look some up for auditions?

preferably one written by an African American woman.

well right now im looking for some and i use google too look up my monologues if you have any more questions just ask me ill be happy to help you  

and for looking up auditions i use google as well i type in auditions for teens etc... but some are going to try to trick you to spend money dont fall for those! also use casting call as one too

A monologue is simpy a text in a play/film where just one character is speaking. You can simply use google to search for them, or go to your local library.
