Monopolistic? Why would the U.S. Congress allow more anti-competitive control of energy?

I d**n sure do not want Exxon to be my energy company. Millions of dollars being spent to promote existing oil companies to brainwash voters with the horrible idea Exxon, Chevron eetc. should be our energy companies - ethanol, solar, wind, coal and geothermal. That is not more efficient, it is monopolistic and counter intuiative to competition and efficecient economics. BS!

  1. Because a lack of competition will drive prices up, and profits.

    Which is important as US oil give loads of money to the two parties.


  2. Organizations and corporations are merging and consolidating their power.  Consumer-citizens need to wake up and do the same.  The New World Order is almost here.

  3. Congress is majority Democrats who are heavily influenced by Environmentalist groups which are fronts for communism.  and dems just hate capitalism in general.

  4. We need to nationalize the entire energy industry. Toss in telephones, cable tv, and internet access too.

  5. money is power and our gov officials almost all have price tags on their foreheads.

  6. The only thing that worked in energy competition was how to rip off the customers....remember the energy crisis in California?  And Duke in NC?  So, maybe it is time for congress to step in and do something....
