If one player owns all four trains, but only ONE of them in UN-MORGADED, if someone landed on the only un-morgaded property, would they pay the price of one owned, or the price if all of them are owned?

  1. Under the section on Paying Rent in the Official Rules:

    "It is an advantage to hold all the Title Deed cards in a color-group (i.e., Boardwalk and Park Place, or Connecticut, Vermont and Oriental Avenues) because the owner may then charge double rent for unimproved properties in that color-group. ***This rule applies to unmortgaged properties even if another property in that color-group is mortgaged.***"

    The rule specifies color-groups, and the Railroads are not a color-group.  However, the Railroads still ARE a group, and so it would be logically consistent to apply the rule to them as well, which means that the rent would still be $200.

    I've played Monoply on X-box for like 3 monthes, cuz that was the only game out when i got it (i got the demo X-box 6 monthes before the general public) so I've learned all the rules.

    If a property is morgaged, it has no affect on the rent, meaning that no additional rent money can come from the ownership of that property. Quick answer to this is that it does not count, and you pay $25 for landing on the property, not $200.

  4. They would pay the prics of only one being owned.  Because once you mortgage a property you don't own it, the bank does until you pay them the money back.

  5. Tournament rules are such that if all four railroads are owned by one player and 3 are morgaged, the rent owed on the fourth is $200.  It doesn't matter that the other properties in the group are mortgaged, you still own all of them and are entitled to the higher rent
