Monopoly...never played Risk, thought it looked boring...Monopoly is great though..you could spend all day playing it.

risk is good for battle and drawn out games.

monopoly is good for long family games, but it can be short, like 3 rounds of the board, or extremely long and boring..

ehhh... I like both. Risk is better for the strategic mind and monopoly is one of those "roll your dice, move your mice" kind of games where luck plays a big factor. But i do prefer Monopoly.

In Monopoly you do the same thing over and over and over with a goal of taking everyone else's fake money.

In Risk you take over the world.
