Monopoly question?

Ok, i am playing with my friends(which i love and hate, i have one friend who always just gives away all his properties and money to whoever is loosing in the middle of the game whis makes its really annoying to play). But are you allowed to just give someone a property with all your houses on it or is that against the rules. You have to atleast sell your houses right

You cannot give someone a property, but you can sell it to them, no matter how low the price may be.

you have to sell your houses but then u can sell him the properties for like, 1 dollar, but u cant just give them to him. catlovers right.

he should sell the houses then sell the property to the loser for like $1 :) i think it's stupid to help someone in a game where the point is to make the other people go bankrupt, although it is generous of him it is against the rules

Yes, you are right.  A player is not allowed to just give something away, or trade property with buildings on it.  If a player wants to quit during the game, all of his money goes back in the bank and all his property is auctioned off by the banker one piece at a time.

Well first you have to sell all your houses then you may give the property only if you sell it and they bought it from you or you bought it from him so basically its against the rules if you just "give it" to him just like for free and just hand it to him. But if you sell it to him like for 1 dollar or somtehing it is not against the rules I hope you understood what I meant. :)

If you are playing with your friends, then it shouldn't matter.  Lots of people make up their own rules.  Before you start a game you should all make sure you know the rules that you will be playing by.  The only time you have to stick to the "official" rules, is if you are playing in some sort of competition.  Otherwise you can make up your own rules.

on the back of your property card it should say "mortage" and how much its worth. if ur going to give it to someone u must make that person buy it for the mortage.

The point of the game is to win and have a good time.  It doesn't seem that he wants to win so he shouldn't play.  I would never let him play at my place.

You can't sell on with houses or hotels on it. I believe you need to sell those back to the bank for half of what you paid for them. then you need to sell the property to another person not give it. But you could always sell it for 1 dollar.
