Monroe piercing went bad...?

Question

I'm thinking of having a monroe piercing. I was wondering what could go bad in the worst case?

I 'm thinking it very carefully before doing it so I would really appreciate if you girls could tell me cases that went wrong i.e. infections etc...

Worst case? They could have to remove part of your upper lip, but this is like ABSOLUTE worst case. A more probable worst case? They'll have to remove the piercing and you'll have a scar. Make sure the place you go to is a reputable place, and don't just go for the lowest price. Ask around, see what people say about it. Ok so assuming this place is good, just do what the piercer tells you. I know this isnt the same exactly, but I got my lip pierced, but its still an external-to-mouth piercing, like a Monroe, so don't f*ck around with it. As long as he is good, trust what the guy says, and take care of it! I messed around a little bit with my stuff and really the worst that has happened is a little more pain than usual and it took a little longer to heal. Anyways, good luck!

Just go to a piercing/tattoo place that uses good, sterile tools. Have any friends with recommendations?

Clean it and take care of it and it should be fine.

The worst is probably a small tiny dot as a scar if you take it out.
