Question:

Monser Surge Protector Question..?

I have a Monster Power Surge Protector (Monster Cable Power Protect Surge Protector [MP HTIB 650]), and I was trying to plug an AC adaptor into it, but I put a fair bit of pressure on it, but it wouldn't go in so I gave up because I didn't want to damage anything. I can't say how much pressure I put into it (enough to plug it into a normal electrical outlet, but it wouldn't go in with that amount of pressure so I stopped), but I was wondering if they are durable enough to take a bit of pressure? And also if the surge protector broke is there any way it could damage the electronics I do have it hooked up to?

  1. Just make sure the AC adaptor plug and the surge protector outlet are matched. Then you can press more. If not, you may just damage either or both of them.
