Why are indians and the BCCI so money greedy, why do they want to play in Sri Lanka when its going to be raining most of the time.

The BCCI is the worst sporting board ever. All they think about is money, more money and even more money. they dont care how c**p the quality of cricket is, just about money.

  1. You answered your own question dude..

    They are money hungry.

  2. yar its also a clever decision and part of strategy of BCCI.. They could drew the series against Sri. or could win it too if any one give exceptional performance.  other wise they have lots of chances to loss in this series

  3. Everyone in this world money....dont u???

Its all fair...what is wrong wid that

  4. Well said and kudos to you..

  5. According to me monsoon period is from July to 31st August.

I think indian Cricket Board is not dealing in money. these series are organize by ICC. Indian board is Forced By ICC to play series with Sri Lanka.

  6. I think it's quite stupid to be touring Sri Lanka at this time. When it rains it does not stop. Test match at this time of year is guarunteed to end in draws due to the rain. Looks like this series won't be as promising as everyone hoped.

Well take a look at this, i don't know how they will start play today.

EDIT: i wouldn't push the blame on BCCI, but overall everyone who organised to have this tour in the monsoon period. This wouldv'e been an excellent series, now it's going to be overshadowed by the rain. Disapointing

EDIT: PLAY BEGINS AT 3:30 local time (less than an hours time) 42 overs will be played today, play will begin 30 minutes earlier everyday.

  7. dude the BCCI might have toured for the benefit of the sri lankan board aswell...dont forget that the sri lankan board will also get alot of income...and sri lankan board can do with some income right now...BCCI are just being good neighbours and helping SLC out..

so its both india and sri lankas fault....

  8. what a mesmerising Q mate, these type of Qs appear here once in a blue moon !

i agree with the second answerer,

i would just like to say that BCCI is a great cricket board , who always stands by its players !

business is separate and sport is separate, it would not be nice to mingle the two !

    thanks and best regards!

    god bless!

  9. It's all about the money !

  10. so true, pity isn't it?
