Ok i just download monster hunter freedom 2 and im stuck on the training mission that you have to combine materials

i found the mushrooms and i cant find out what the hunter intervention thing is or the secret material is

Which training mission is it exactly, its kinda vague. All combine recipies will be listed in the menu page 2 > reference > combo list once you have the material found. for example: you will need stone and sap plant to combine to bomb materials, herb + blue mushroom for potion.

for Mega Potion its Potion + Honey

Come to think of it, was it the potion training mission? If yes you can find herbs at area 1 just before camp and area 2 zone. look at the grass near some stones/rocks. its color will be slightly brighter and kinda obvious. press circle to harvest them.
