Monster cables?

ok i got the monster cables 4 my xbox 360 it has the fiber optic cable i plugged every thing into my tv(my tv has the optic cable input)i have a picture but no sound. how do i get the sound?

Check to make sure your tv's optical port is an input not an out put (it will be marked audio out). Many tvs have an optical port but dont ever recall seeing one that is an input. If it is actualy an input check the settings on your 360.

You probably also have L/R analog inputs. Your TV may have a menu setting to tell it to look at the optical input.

ALSO - Did you take the little plastic cap off the end of the optical cable? I forgot this, hooked it up and the sound only woked a bit.
