  1. I think you are referring to East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia as East Malaysia is actually Sabah & Sarawak (you also mentioned redang & tioman, those are at east coast). Ms Yaya is right, the monsoon season for east coast of Peninsular Malaysia is from October to March. I think it is better for you to go to western part, Langkawi & Pangkor would be nice too!

But, the weather now is unpredictable. The timeframe of October to March was what we being taught when we were in Darjah 3, or 4 (Alam & Manusia), and by that time our mean temperature was charted as 28 degree celcius.

But see now? The temperature rise to 32 degree celcius, and Kelantan, Terengganu no more strucked by banjir (flood) on November or December. But it was Johor! Maybe you may consult to Travel Agencies which can give you correct information.

  2. crab season!

  3. east coast ah? yeah, dangerous. but to be honest, though they say theyre closed, there are actually people who ignore the danger and go there during the monsoon season, and of course, there will be boat men who are willing to ferry these people there. anyway, no need to go lah, why dont you go to langkawi, or penang perhaps?

  4. Langkawi

  5. the monsoon season can be so bad that your clothers will not dry for 2 weeks in the east coast

  6. yes.. During that time the tide is high, i ll suggest that you go langkawi instead. not advisable due to big waves..

  7. Monsoon season for the east side is from October to Feb/March....

Hey...we still have Pangkor and Langkawi....Ketam and Batam also can... ;-)
