Question:

Monta Ellis, the Leader?

As you guys know, Baron Davis went to the Clippers. I guess that means that Monta Ellis will be the new PG and leader of the Warriors along with Stephen Jackson as a Captain still. Now I'm thinking that since Monta will be playing the PG often, will he be an all star now? Maybe he can average around 23 points along with 8 assists. I guess you can relate the Warriors to the Hornets because Monta will be their Chris Paul in a way...So I'm having high expectations of Monta being an all star this year. But that's my opinion, what do you guys think?

  1. i think it will take him the entire year to learn how to play pg because monta isnt a passer much hes mostly a scorer but because of his quickness he may adjust faster than i thought and i also think that the warriors will just play him at point at the start and end of games because they will rely on him for points

  2. Monta Ellis is goin to have to carry the load now that Baron Davis is with the Clippers. The Warriors have lost alot of talent. They lost Keleena Azubuike, Michael Pietrus, and Matt Barnes. So all of their young talents on the bench is goin to have to step up this year. I say Monta Ellis will average 22ppg 6apg. Its hard to say if he will be on the all star team because their are alot of all star guards in the west but he will have a great season though.

  3. o ya definitely. i have the same hopes as u since i live in the bay area. im a big warriors fan and have monta's autograph. He had a breakthrough year last season and im sure hes gonna be an elite point guard now that barons in l.a.
