  1. Bad. I'm still shaking my head. All we need now is Stephen Jackson shooting up another stripp-club.

    Baron goes Hollywood:

    Monta Broken ankle

    what next?

  2. I guess all that talk about Baron not staying healthy came back to bite Warrior fans in the @$$!!

  3. g*y g*y g*y g*y g*y!!!!!

    I am really pissed.

  4. Major because who else they have at that spot? They were ready to rely heavy on Monta Ellis this season for the workload.

IMO, Baron Davis should still be in Golden State, it's just a coach's ego got in the way.

  5. That injury to Ellis is a severe blow to their playoff chances

  6. it makes the warriors suck for the first month of the season.

  7. I don't even want 2 talk about it

I'm still letting it soak in

  8. Yes it will hurt them ... especially with West being so stacked

It may cost them their playoff spot ..

  9. Over the short term not so much. Marcus Williams should step in and play the point well and Maggette and Jackson will have no problem scoring more. If it's a long term injury then the Warriors will struggle in the second half of the seaon.

  10. No difference really. The Warriors will not make the playoffs. They will win maybe 10 more games with Ellis playing but that's still not gonna get them into the post season.

  11. THE WARRIORS WILL BE OUT THE PLAYOFFS JUST LIKE THIS PAST YEAR, NO HOPE FOR THEM AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. they are in danger of missing the playoffs

  13. Now Marcus Williams has 3 months to prove he is a good PG in NBA, while CJ Watson should pick up the extra minutes and push Williams much harder. After all it is an open race on the PG vacancy, and we should not rule out the possibility that Kelenna Azubuike will be assigned as emergency PG and/or the first PG in final minutes.

The absence of Monta Ellis may hurt the offensive flow, yet I don't see any obvious difference in offensive production (and it should be a small minus on fastbreak sans Ellis) because Warriors still have 2 proven scorers in Corey Maggette and Stephen Jackson, and Jackson's leadership (?!) becomes more crucial right now.

The bottomline is Warriors should figure out a plan to keep their run-and-gun on pace and on the other hand to tight up the defense. If they can pass the test, the 8th seed in playoff is still achievable.

  14. it will hurt us big time, Monta is the key to our success, but we'll have to manage without him, for the first month of the season.

  15. They will be in the bottom.

  16. It hurts them bad.  They'll need to bring in a new PG to help run that system.     CJ Watson isn't good enough to be their starter, and there isn't a lot of caliber players out there.    Maybe they could bring in bay area native Gary Payton
