Montaser favourite for Merseyrail Day Saver Ticket Handicap
Montaser has won the best odds for the Merseyrail Day Saver Ticket Handicap at Chester in England on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. The winner of the class-3 event will be awarded a cash prize of £9,057.
The going will be soft in the 1 mile, 4 furlong and 66 yard race, which is scheduled to start at 16:45 GMT. A total of 12 runners have been attracted towards the event and their names are as follows: Rosslyn Castle, Gabrial The Great, Montaser, Cherry Street,
Martin, Theturnofthesun, Chuzzlewit, Bordoni, Third Half, Juno The Muffinman, Bob´s World, Rapid Heat Lad and Sir Trevor.
Out of the above mentioned runners, Theturnofthesun might not be able to take part in the race, but no final word has come from his trainer, John Gosden. The three-year-old colt had a solid chance of winning the race, as he was carrying very good momentum.
He has participated in four events until now, winning one of them.
Looking at the other runners, Montaser seems to have the best chances of winning the race. This is why the bookies have favoured him today. He is also likely to attract some bets from the punters.
