Vincenzo Montella, the head coach of AC Fiorentina, has gone on to remark on their performances of late and stated that they would build on their good start.
The former caretaker head coach of AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603, has gone on to comment on the targets that he has set out for his team in the upcoming year, and stated that there was still a lot that he had to prove. With this in mind he has remarked that he would be looking
to perform to the best of their abilities in the upcoming year.
Fiorentina enter in to the new year bearing a new set of expectations; both from supporters of the Serie A and the club. They have been a breath of fresh air and this has meant that they are currently occupying a standing in the top tier of the Serie A table
and they have performed above and beyond the expectations of many sporting personnel. While commenting on the performances of the team, and whether there was an element of surprise to their fortunes, the former head coach of Catania has remarked that the key
to his success at the club has been the fact that he is always hungry to learn more and work harder all the time.
He reflected that this is a trait he would look to hold on to his skill set, and he reiterated the desire of the team to give their all to the upcoming cause as well. While reflecting on the needs of the club to perform to the best of their abilities, he
said that they would give their all to remain at the level they were in. He commended the input by the owners of the club and stated:
“Did I expect such a strong start? To be honest, I still feel that I am ‘unripe’ as a Coach. In fact, I hope to remain like this, as it can be an important key to success, knowing that you are always developing and maturing. With Fiorentina we started from
nothing with club owners who wanted to reboot the project. Our objectives for 2013 are to continue giving our all and remain on this level.”
The Viola outfit are currently on 35 points from a possible 54 points.
