Unics Kazan 68 - Galatasaray Medical Park 64

Olympiacos 81 - Fenerbahce Ulker 74
Olympiacos bounced back from a defeat in the very first game of this season and beat Fenerbahce Ulker 81-74 at the Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, Greece. On the other hand, it was the second straight loss for Fenerbahce, which
is now the only winless team in Group A.
Vassilis Spanoulis led all scorers with 22 points on a brilliant 8 for 8 shooting from free throw line and dished out seven assists in the win. Georgios Printezis added 21 points on 2 for 2 shooting from three-point range and grabbed
seven rebounds while Martynas Gecevicius chipped in 13 points on an 8 for 10 shooting from the line and stole the ball twice. Kyle Hines gathered 10 points and three rebounds for Olympiacos.
Thabo Sefolosha led Ulker with 17 points and a game-best 12 rebounds while James Gist ended with 14 points and six rebounds. Roko Ukic punctuated 13 points in the loss.
Olympiacos came out strong in the opening period and held a 12-5 lead with two minutes to go in the quarter. Ulker however reeled off a 9-0 run to go ahead by 14-12, heading into the second period.
Fenerbahce pushed their lead to nine points (32-23) midway through the second quarter and finished at 37-26 going into intermission. Trailing by 11 points at halftime, Olympiacos came out with a purpose in the third quarter and
outscored Fenerbahce 27-17, taking a 54-53 lead into the final quarter.
Olympiacos opened the fourth quarter on a 4-0 run but Ulker found its way to take a 69-67 lead with two minutes left. Olympiacos however scored the next four points of the game and did not trail for rest of the period.
"Olympiacos deserved to win this match, because they played better than we did in the second half. We know our problems and we must keep working in order to solve them and play much better basketball in the future," Fenerbahce
Ulker Head Coach Neven Spahija said after the game.
