Montezemolo hopes for a strong performance by Massa in the next season
The boss of the Ferrari, Luca di Montezemolo, is of the view that the driver of the Ferrari team of the Formula 1 circuit, Felipe Massa will improve his form in the next racing season and will show a better game. Montezemolo has also announced
that the Ferrari racing team will not make major changes in the team for the upcoming Formula 1 season.
It is to be noted that in the recent racing season, Massa supported his veteran team mate Fernando Alonso in Alonso’s struggle for the world championship title. But on the other hand he was also labelled as the second option for the Ferrari racing team by
the media. It is also to be noted that the twenty-nine year old Brazilian driver Massa expressed his anger over the media’s reports and had said that he is not at all the number two driver for the Ferrari racing team as he is equally supported by his team
mates.
The year ended in a disappointment for the team Ferrari as Alonso had a very good chance of winning the world championship title but a strategic mistake snatched the world championship trophy away from the Spaniard in the final race of the event in Abu Dhabi
Grand Prix.
In a very recent interview the chief of Ferrari, Luca di Montezemolo talked to the media and shared his aims. Montezemolo said that the Ferrari racing team will show a better race in the next season and Felipe Massa will driver better as well. The sixty-three
year old Ferrari supremo backed the drivers and told that Massa will bounce back strong as the recent disappointing season has made him more frustrated for a better performance.
Luca said that the best thing about the Ferrari team is that it never gives up and always try its level best to give a very strong challenge to its rivals. He continued and said that it has been very long since Ferrari team has joined the Formula 1 racing
circuit so this is not the first time in the history that the Ferrari racing team has lost the championship title in the last race of the racing tournament.
When Luca was asked about applying some new changes in the Ferrari team, the Italian said that the team will make minors changes but not at all a major change. He told the media about the performance of team’s veteran champ driver Fernando Alonso that Alonso
has performed tremendously well. He continued and said that the Spaniard displayed the best of him and he is a very precious asset for the team Ferrari.
Montezemolo also told the world about Fernando Alonso’s Brazilian team mate Felipe Massa and said that he is very hopeful that Massa will bounce back strongly. He said that the year was not a very lucky year for the Brazilian but ups and downs are a part
of the game.
On the other hand the twenty-nine year old Felipe Massa seemed pretty confident about his future with the team Ferrari. Massa said that he takes criticism very positively, though the year was not very encouraging for him but he is ready to give a good performance.
Massa said that he is very loyal to his racing team as it is one of the most prestigious racing teams of the Formula one racing circuit. Felipe added that at the moment he is very concerned about his performance and he is not at all looking forward to leave
the team Ferrari.
The last race of the championship resulted very badly for the Ferrari team as it was leading the point’s chart before the final race of the event but a tactical mistake by the team gifted the title to the Red Bull racing team’s driver Sebastian Vettel. Now
what will happen in the next racing season, only the time will tell.
