Question:

Month-long trip to Europe...some questions and advice?

My husband and I are wanting to take a month-long trip to Europe next month after I graduate. We want a round trip ticket to London, and to buy a rail pass so we can explore all the other countries while getting to see the countryside from the ground as opposed to the air. We would like to see Paris, Rome, Venice, Amsterdam, London, Dublin, Athens, and all the other big cultural meccas. Am I missing anywhere else interesting that is a must-see? How much does a rail pass cost that would give us unlimited travel throughout Europe? Any input would be awesome.

  1. Prague... Gotta see Prague.

  2. If you only have a month, cut out at least a third of the places you want to see or you will spend more time in the train than actually seeing anything.  I would personally stick to a smaller area, and see a few places a bit more in detail.  I don't understand the purpose of going to a city for 4 hours just to say I was there.  Europe is "small," but not microscopic.

  3. 1.bring a shower curtain(a lot of hotels don't have them)

2.make shore you have a converter

3.bring a travel pillow and blanket(i would recommend the nap collection from brookstones)

4.DON'T over pack or under pack

5.see the hotel room before you stay there!!!(you don't want to stay at a dump)

6.HAVE FUN I LOVED SPENDING A MONTH IN EUROPE!!!!
