Months after breastfeeding my baby...?

Okay, my son is 7 months old now. I breastfed him until he was about 2 1/2 months old. But the last couple of days my b*****s have been very sore and I did an exam on myself today and while I was, milk started coming out (tmi sorry). I haven't had a milk supply for like 3 months now and all of a sudden I had some. It was thicker than I remember it being when I was breastfeeding too. I don't know what to think of this. Has anyone else ever regained a milk supply? I'm so confused.

my sister did. she didn't have any for 4 months and then well milk started coming out. it only lasted for about 2 weeks and she bottled the milk for her 1 year old (baby #2)

I lost my milk supply after breastfeeding for 3 weeks and I still can express a very small amount of colostrum.You are most likely having the same as me.This lactating can last for 2-3 years off and on.Oh and it is not milk it is more like concentrated milk.
