After securing services of Daniel Congre and Anthony Mounier, the reigning Ligue 1 champions are set to start a new offensive in the transfer market
Coronation as the new kings of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anthony-Mounier-c6224 and Gaetan Charbonnier are set to feature
for La Paillade next season.
Yesterday, it was confirmed that the Heraultais will eventually secure the services of Argentine goal machine Emanuel Herrera from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chile-c2871. However, the 25-year-old will not be the club’s last signing for this summer.
Fully aware of the fact that the team will be fighting on multiple fronts next season including the UEFA Champions League, the club’s direction is set to start phase two of Mercato.
According to L’Equipe, La Paillade are negotiating terms with Henri Bedimo’s entourage. The left-back was an integral part of Montpellier’s championship-winning side and is heavily courted by the likes of LOSC Lille and several English Premier League sides.
Bedimo has been offered a new contract even though his current contract expires in June 2015. Even if Bedimo refuses to extend his contract, La Paillade are not looking to let go of such an important player.
The club’s management has also held discussions with Moroccan international Younes Belhanda. The 22-year-old midfielder’s contract expires in June 2014 and the club is looking to extend his lease with a salary that befits one of the best players in Ligue
1.
The case of Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa is also being discussed. The La Paillade captain’s performances last season have earned interest from a lot of European sides like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, Newcastle United and Fenerbahce. However, the central defender, whose contract expires
next June, is considering staying at the club for one more season in order to experience Champions League football.
Though Yanga-Mbiwa has said that he will eventually leave the club, the player will be offered a new contract in order to maintain his market value.
The club’s next season’s budget has increased by 67% and good things can be expected from the side in the 2012/2013 campaign.
