i will be going to montreal mid august with a buddy and i just had a few questions. any input will be greatly appreciated.

i'm looking for a nice cheap place to stay (under 100 dollars), the cheaper the better. i dont think we would like hostels though. we need our privacy.

also, what are the best places to visit. we're staying for 4 days. please suggest a travel plan for me if you can( what to see each day) since i wont know where anything is and i want to see lots in the 4 days.

finally, we want to do some shopping for good clothes. where would the best places to shop be. we're both guys btw so somewhere with good mens clothing.

thanks in advance everyone. i cant wait to visit your city!!!

  1. If you want a motel and are both guys just get one on stjaques, they suck really but its private and easy to get downtown, and you can drink do drugs whatever even pick up hookers and they simply wont give a c**p.  If you want safe/clean in that price range youll need to use priceline without it a good room is hundreds

  2. Since tourist season starts to slow down in august, i would bid on hotel reservations on priceline.com You can probably stay at a really nice hotel for the fraction of the price.

What to do and shopping?  I JUST answered another poster with the same question, here is the link:
