  1. No it is not,

Sonny Ramadhin had bowled 98 overs in an innings

here is the scorecard - check out the second innings figures for Ramadhin

Monty did not pick up a wicket, methinks, and still that is not a record for bowling most number of overs without taking a wicket in an innings

It is another West Indies player, Dennis Atkinson, who had bowled 72 overs without a wicket, in the same test match same innings (the next name after Ramadhin in the above scorecard)

    EDIT

I came across a different scenario - Robert  Peel had bowled 102.1 overs in 1885, but an over consisted of only 4 deliveries.

Interestingly enough, there are 170 instances of bowlers sending down more than 360 deliveries (more than 60 overs in modern day cricket; earlier, 8-ball overs were popular)

Sure. Sonny Ramadhin is a right arm off spinner, & the first West Indies cricketer of Indian origin.
