Heathcote
Tommy Biddle: 9.5/10
Striking the goal of from top of the position, Biddle rendered one of the best performances in the current season. He enjoyed the superb performance and scored the goals in double figure for second time in the tournament. He frequently marked out goals and
frustrated the Circa team. He scored eleven times which the complete scoring from the field. The pace, stick work and lengthy rides were the best efforts from Biddle to make the victory possible alone.
Nico Taverna: 7.5/10
He displayed he could be a real asset for Heathcote in the ongoing tournament with his pace, stick-work, link-up play and energy. Though he could not score a single goal in the six chukkas, he created many chances for Biddle. It seemed that he had superb
understanding with the forward man, as he did not attempt to play selfishly throughout the match.
Nick Manifold: 6.5/10
Manifold was at his best and not only defended intelligently but also linked up well with attacking players. He produced a storming presentation, powerful in defence and always willing to ride towards the downfield. It was his fine stick-work and passing
that allowed Biddle to score as many goals and book a place in the finals.
Steve Lefkowitz: 5.5/10
It was a below par show from Lefkowitz, as he failed to display impressive game at the number four position. It was he who permitted the opponent strikers to make a comeback into the match. He looked out of form in the other aspects of the match and his
passing was in no use.
Circa
Magoo Laprida: 8/10
In quite an under-pressure game, it was an excellent show from Laprida who scored nine times in the six-chukka of play. It was his best game that kept their hopes alive to make a comeback into the game and forced the game into the sudden-death round. He
continued to create opportunities for other players and involved them into the match.
Martin Pepa: 7/10
Pepe had a dazzling game at the number two position and scored twice in the two halves. He was not stiffed all the way through and barely provided opposite strikers a chance to snatch ball from his possession. His couple of goals though not saved them from
the defeat but these made the game more enthralling.
Guille Aguero: 6/10
Aguero was not looking is his usual position and could only add a solitary goal in the crucial match. Apart from few missing chances, he showed impressive defence and denied the attacks on some occasions. He also linked up the ball but no avail.
Francisco Lanusse: 4.5/10
As a number-four position player, he was looking big things in his early careers and spread glimpses of his magic but to no use. He struggled throughout the match, as he could not perform on defence or offence.
