White Birch
Fred Mannix: 08/10
All time favourite in the tournament – Fred Mannix opened the game with a dynamic execution in the very first chukka of the match. He was real architect of the victory, as he notched eight goals in the six-chukka of play. As per the expectations and previous
track record, Mannix was highest scorer of the game-winning completion. His stick work, movement at the back of the horse and lengthy rides were the tactics of the winning performance.
Mariano Aguerre: 09 /10
Aguerre – the legendary player from White Birch was real hero of the match who showed outstanding performance at the number two position. He scored only three goals in the grand finale but his rendered one of the best performance in the midfield position.
He was the man who played vital role in the eight goals of Fred Mannix, as he created plenty of chances and linked-up all the players. He did not allow the opponent strikers as well defenders to cope with his speed.
Peter Brant: 05/10
Peter Brant – the skipper of the White Birch played the match excitedly but he usually committed needless mistakes. He though accounted for a single goal, but failed to show impressive defence at the number four position.
Mariano Gracida: 07/10
The White Birch player delivered impressive work, blocking numerous attacks from the opposite side. With brilliant defence, he also participated in the scoring and notched four goals in the six chukkas. His speed was matchless in the game.
Heathcote
Tommy Biddle: 7.0/10
Contrary to expectations, he almost failed to show his performance what he really worth. Though he got through a power of work before the stiffen defence of White Birch, he could only add three goals in the two halves. Biddle delivered super performances
in the previous games but he failed to show his real energy and passing game. Biddle could only score three goals in the crucial finale.
Naco Taverna: 5.5/10
Taverna did not show reasonable game in the final match and added only a single game for Heathcote. Apart from his solitary best effort, he was beaten on many occasions. He created many chances for the front man but to no avail.
Nick Manifold: 5.0/10
Apart from converting a penalty shot, it was a failed show from Manifold. He anchored the Heathcote number three position but could not impress the spectators. He made few link-ups but the attackers could not avail the chances.
Steve Lefkowitz: 4.5/10
At the number four position, he could not deliver results and conceded plenty of goals in the six chukkas. He was a failed player, as he could not show his worth on defence nor offence.
