Question:

Mood stabilizer Topomax?

Hi. I am being treated for moderate depression with ADHD. I had been on Lamictal for quite some time, but could not tolerate it because I was just becoming too "dull". Like losing my train of thought, forgetfulness, etc. My doc and I decided to stop it.

I have been feeling I need a stabilizer as my temper is a little bad. Topomax was recommended, so I'd like to hear from people who have taken it. What did you think?

Was it helpful? What were side effects?

Thanks :)
