Moody Blonde expected to thrive at Romford – Maiden Stayers Preview
Moody Blonde’s two consecutive victories during February-March 2012, after a long failure streak, have surprisingly turned her into a favourite prospect for winning The Romford Stadium Maiden Stayers.
This high-stakes Open Race of 575m Flat distance is scheduled to be held at 21:40 (GMT) on Friday night, March 16.
For the prize money of £175, the P. Young-trained white and blue b***h is going to compete against Pantone Ava, Droopys Hiss, Oscars Debbie, Lethal Roy and Airforce Peejay.
Moody Blonde started her professional career in September 2010. Her maiden victory came in the same month.
The brilliant b***h registered an epic hat-trick during June 2011. During the months of December 2011 and January 2012, she experienced a severe lean patch.
However, the three-year-old veteran runner suddenly perked up her stamina with the dawn of February and won two big contests in a row.
The daughter of Charity Jack out of Amandas Josie finished second in her last outing on March 10. Overall, she has been a consistent performer throughout her long career.
As far as tonight’s competition is concerned, Moody Blonde looks to be a worthy contender for the top spot provided she manages to perpetuate her winning momentum.
Out of the b***h’s competitors, two hounds named as Droopys Hiss and Oscars Debbie are strong enough coupled with having potential to give tough time to her.
Droopys Hiss won a race each in February and March 2012. The trainee of M. Wallis finished second in her last outing on March 9. Currently the daughter of College Causeway out of Droopys Geneva is carrying a lot of form.
On the other hand, Oscars Debbie has gained great confidence by winning a race each in January and February 2012. The J. Reynolds-trained black b***h too finished second in her last start on March 12.
By are large, there is expected to be a rip-roaring competition at Romford ground. Finishing first will not be an easy task for Moody Blonde but the talented b***h is likely to fight to the last extent to make the breakthrough. Good luck to her.
