Moonlight Dash to rock the party in Jebel Ali’s Power Point LLC (Handicap) (Dirt)
Trainer, S. Seemar is highly likely to enjoy a lot of good time at Jebel Ali this Friday, November 2nd. His talented 4-year-old, Moonlight Dash, has a wonderful track record here, and will not face any trouble whatsoever in bagging the big prize in the Power Point LLC (Handicap) (Dirt).
Just look at Moonlight Dash’s stats at this venue, and you will be fascinated. He was runner-up on his first outing here in January 2012. Building on that, he got off the mark the following month.
It was surely an impressive effort. Owned by Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, the bay gelding put up an excellent show, and eventually captured the first place by five and a half lengths. After opening his account, the big fellow did not let things slip out of his hands.
In March, the son of Monsun shared the podium in a tough contest. The Darley-bred continued the fantastic work, and came up with an outstanding act last time around. It was an unlucky ride though.
In the hands of regular jockey Richard Mullen, the skilful runner missed the gold medal only by a head’s distance. Moonlight Dash was quite impressive on his all four starts here last winter.
It is likely that he will continue the marvellous work on this track. Although the opposition is very strong, his camp does not need to be worried. On Jebel Ali’s fast seven furlongs, fourteen horses, including Moonlight Dash, will compete for a prize of £8,995.
Daboos ran a few good races ahead of going on a seasonal break in March. Although the 5-year-old is not one of the consistent winners, his ability to create a surprise even against the big guns cannot be overlooked.
Dahteer is not on our shortlist. The 10-year-old has a lot of experience under his belt, but his overall performance last season was not good at all. Hacienda, on the other hand, is a massive threat to all. Inconsistently is an issue, but still the punters should keep an eye on him.
According to our calculations, the best choice is Moonlight Dash. His record at Jebel Ali is awesome, and there is no need to look elsewhere for the winner. Good luck to all.
