  1. 'f**t gas' is just methane, which is a greenhouse gas like carbon dioxide; it would still cause global warming. In fact, methane is 20x as bad as carbon dioxide. The only reason carbon dioxide is a more important greenhouse gas is because  there's much much more carbon dioxide, so it causes global warming more than methane.

    In the 90s Volvo had a car that could run on methane, and supposedly got "250 kilometers (or 155 miles) FOR THE WHOLE TANK".

    Not for miles per gallon, but miles per tank.


  2. Off course Fox is one of the most populist media and the figures are certainly somehow realistic but need to be put into a larger context.

  3. Hmmm, I am inclined to think that a moose strapped to your car bonnet with pipes leading from various orifices may affect your forward vision. I also am inclined to think that the gain in mileage may be offset by the increased accident rate.
