Mopar fans, what do you think?

Question

What are the chances that they revive the Barracuda? Yes, it's Plymouth, so they'd have to market under the Chrysler brand.

Still, in the last 4 years, we've seen the Mustang re-designed, and the Camaro and Challenger revived with retro looks. The only pony car missing is the Cuda.

Do you think that Chrysler will step up and re-issue the Barracuda in order to help the Challenger fend off Ford and Chevy?

Seriously, while companies are starting to look retro, Chrysler might as well revive the Cuda.

I think it would be great!!!!The cuda was a great car!!!!I,m sorry to say this is not going to happen. Ever heard of BBP?It stands for Bring Back Plymouth.l..They auctually made a 2008 cuda...Of course it,s a one off.It was an awesome looking car..If I had alot of money I,d have the car collection that would make Jay Leno jealous!!!!!

I dont think it will happen.  Chrysler is not doing very well, and i dont think the new challenger is going to save them.  They rely to heavily on big trucks and suv's.  Plus all the interiors now a cheap looking plastic and they all pretty much look the same. They need to re-focus on a more quality driven product...I know, i used to sell Chrysler's for a living.  I had to change jobs because people were getting tired of c**p quality and really only bought them if you gave them away, hence the EC program and $100 leases. Which in turn made my paycheck really small and it just wasn't worth it anymore.

It would be awesome to see a 'cuda come back and it would be also awesome and give them chance to bring back the "Plymouth" name plate.  However, I don't think it will happen anytime soon because of gas prices.  Everyone is saying that Chrysler isn't doing so well, but if you look at the stock prices for both Ford and GM, they are heading down fast compared to Chrysler.  But as for your question.  It would be awesome.  Will it happen, unfortunatly I don'[t think so.
