Moped has a hard time getting up to speed?

Question

also changed the spark plug at about 40 mph it is it like it has a hard time getting gas well it feels that way i don't think that it has anything to do with the gas now that i pulled the carburetor apart and check the jet .all clean.also i do burn hi test gas.

any help what to look at next?air filter is clean,it has only about 125 mi on it

You're 10 mph over what is usually consider top speed. Its time to move up !

Sounds about right to me

If your scooter is 50cc, then you're at top speed.

If its a 150cc, then you're 20mph+ slower.
