Moped registration?

when i got pulled over the cop took my registration and didn't give it back how do i get it back?

First trying contacting the police department and explain what happened.  Maybe you can get the cop to return it.

If that doesn't help, then call the DMV.  They will have a procedure to replace your paper work.  Of course it is different for each state.
