Question:

Moral Situation Molesting Father?

by  |  earlier

A girl was molested by her father at a young age, and in adulthood brings it up to her sisters who then do not back her up.

2 of the sisters live in the same house in their 30's and one married sister just had a daughter and brings her over every weekend. Is she wrong to bring her daughter knowing what the father did? She says she "forgave him"

  1. just because your father touched his daughter sexually does not mean he doesn't love her.  he may have learned more self control and shouldn't be avoided because of one minor incident along time ago.

  2. yes but did it happen to all the girls or just the one. Perhaps if it was just the one she feels safe letting her child being around him personally I would not but then again I am not in that postion.

I for sure would not leave my child alone with her.

  3. I think so. Molester will always molest again, in my opinion. I think in a case as this she would have to really understand what a molester is all about and I don't think she really does and she won't until it happen to her....

    Sad but true.

  4. anyone who has molested a child..needs to be reported even years ago..the family should know the truth and I would not be taking any young child into this molestors house..the victim needs to speak the truth about what the father did..healing comes out of coming forth in what he did

  5. Yes,she is putting her child at risk of being molested and that makes her worse than her dad.
