  1. No.

  2. if you're trying to get in trouble or fired then go for it.  but i woudlnt recommend it.  there's a time and a place for grabbing a beer and during the work day isnt it

  3. Check your office's policy manual. What does it say about consuming alcohol while at work? Almost every policy manual will say something similar to my office's: "Staff members are not allowed to use alcoholic beverages while on active duty. Any staff member who is found to be using alcoholic beverages while on active duty, or who arrives at work or performs work while inebriated, will be subject to severe disciplinary action, including suspension or discharge."

So, assuming your office's policy is similar, it's ethically wrong. Morality is subjective, so it's up to you whether or not it's morally wrong. It would be against my morals, but I'm not going to impose them on you.

If you want to try it badly enough, first evaluate the risk. You will leave some evidence of your behavior behind. A beer can in the bathroom trashcan might make your boss suspicious and look for who it may have been, but trying to dispose of the can outside of the bathroom would be even worse.

Is your typical day so rough that you're still considering it, despite this risk? Would it be worth getting fired for? Would it be too difficult to only drink a beer off-site (at lunch)? If so, maybe it's time to get a job that suits you better. Or, if your job isn't the problem, think about looking into an alcoholic recovery program.

  4. Nobody seems to be answering your question from an ethical perspective, so I'll give it a shot.  The only two negative concerns I can see with having a cold one at work are:

    - you're in the bathroom longer than you otherwise would be, and you're not working during this time

    - your performance at work may suffer from the effects of alcohol.

Probably #1 isn't much of a concern because it doesn't take long to have one drink.  If #2 isn't a problem (your work is unaffected), then I see no moral/ethical problem with it.

  5. Are you addicted? Immaturity is the biggest problem with alcohol drinkers. And to open one would only elevate the problem. Youth is more than a waste sometimes and we see this happen in scenarios like yours where an a honest answer would remove all doubt.

  6. If you are going to do it once for the thrill of it, then go right ahead. Don't make a habit out of it.

  7. ummmm, only if your a bartender, but its kinda unsanitary

  8. no you should never eat or drink enything in the head enywhare it is a germey nasty place you mite catch something.also if you are talking about beer no if you get hurt thay will want a sample of urin and that would s***w you  up. but if you are going to drink you mite go to a store bar or nice resturant for lunch and do it.you dont need to be caught with it on you.and use mints after so it wont be so ovious. but realy you are beaing payed to do youre work sober enything lass is not really rite is it?
