im writing a morality play im in 7th grade and i need some ideas!!!! plz help!!!!

  1. Try to explore modern thoughts and feelings and touch your audience. Try to teach them a new outlook on things that suddenly changes their whole train of thought. For example, RENT changed the common idea of homeless and the general look of HIV. Don't be afraid to get edgy, but don't go over the edge. The plotline has to explore people and their morals and possibly show how they are flawed (think "URINETOWN")


  2. It's all about finding some kind of practical lesson that you can "teach" us about being a better person.  If you can read "Everyman" that's a great example of a morality play, or a synopsis of Everyman, that could help point you in the right direction.

  3. ask your teacher (to make sure she doesn't consider this copying) and make a cute well known fable today into a morality play, just make the characters talk and dress for the medieval period :) that way it can show a lesson without you having to make it up and your audience will relate more to the story and enjoy it. good luck!
