  1. Lawyers choose to be lawyers, abortion providers choose to provide abortions. Robbers chose to robe.

    If we have the capability to discern the truth i say we should judge with great care and only for the protection of society as a whole.

    If we can not discern;

    Nothing is hidden from God I say let God Judge.

  2. Depends if they know if the person is innocent or guilty, if the action or crime was done in self defense or other circumstances........ God will be the judge in the near future.

  3. It isn't a question of morality, it is a question of ethics. A lawyer has the responsibility to represent a client to the best of their ability to insure them a fair trial.

    To go beyond this is unethical, either way.

  4. I do not know how they sleep at night.... I know that all are entitled to a defense, but still........ go in peace....... God bless

  5. So many people do things out of fear or for gain that they can convince themselves they are doing right.

  6. I think they are in it for the money.  If they know it then they can not deny it.

  7. For anyone to knowingly and willingly do wrong is evil.

  8. Everyone by law has a right to a defense, if a lawyer uses deception to free a client he knows is guilty then I would have a problem with that but a lawyer is obligated to give the best defense he can for his client.  That does not include using deceit however.

  9. I think they are not good people.  I've always had a problem with those kind of jobs.  God is about justice, so when a lawyer is so "good" that he gets criminals off, he is going against God's ways.

    I think that we will be called into account on judgement day for what we have done.  I think that for every criminal that gets set free and goes out and hurts more people, their lawyers will be held accountable by God as well.  That seems like justice to me.  They won't be told "it's ok, you were just doing your job"

    I think we all have to think about the consequences of our actions.  For myself, I used to run a music dept. at a large retail store.  I began to feel really bad about all the junk I was selling.  I know that people have the right to choose for themselves and buy whatever, but it really started to bother me.  I had to make a decision - can I really spend my time trying to sell things that I believe are damaging the youth of this nation?  I think we each need to examine what our job means in the eternal perspective.

  10. I think that criminal lawyers are just doing their jobs, and that it isn't their place to judge someone, right?  Evil is always relative.

  11. That is a legal issue, not really a religious issue. All criminals have a right to a jury of their peers,and a right to counsel. We may not agree with it but it is the law of the land and I for one am glad we have it because even with it, innocent people are imprisoned and executed.
