The favourite entry was paired up with jockey, Neil Callan, as the duo defeated Lasilia by 2 ¼ lengths while coming at terms with the third position was, Botanic Garden.
Yet again the two-year-old was entered in the same level in which he failed before. Exceed And Excel’s colt finished a credible second in the Group 3 Bet365 Molecomb Stakes on 31st July, 2012 at Goodwood over five furlongs. The ranking however
was an improvement from the fourth position that Morawij posted before.
The 5 to 2 entry will be paired up against the regular jockey, and the two have drawn the second stall to race from.
