  1. It was BRILLIANT.  I watched it twice...and I'm not even American.

    What a man!

  2. i watched it and was amazed at how many programs the liberals want to install and what is amazing is were the money will come from?   you can not tax the rich beyond a certain point before they do something else with their wealth to avoid undue taxation which then falls on the little guy to pick up the slack.   for 50 years i have heard that the democratic party is the party that will help the poor and after those 50 years the poor are still poor.   GO FIGURE   mr  doodles

  3. rah rah rah pep rally cheer cheer cheer..

  4. VOTE MCCAIN, HE'S LESS POPULAR!

    Sheesh...

  5. Yup.  Close to 40 million watched Obama's speech.

I'd guess only about 3 million watched Sarah Palin's VP speech.  It's FRIDAY!  Nobody cares about McSame and his running mate.

  6. Include yourself in the number. If you believe 8 years of failed policies and the deepest debt America has ever had to be victory and want more of the same, then the idiot should look in the mirror.

  7. I dont think that can be true... There were hundreds of thousands of people AT the olympic opening ceremony...

  8. So less than 10% of American's watched?

  9. Huh?

You seem to think the Opning Ceremony of the Olympics is somehow important. WHY?

I can understand why Americans would want to see such an important speech by someone who might be president. Who is president affects our lives; a bit of show biz opening a series of atheletic competion has no significant impact on anyone.

Everyone who genuinely loves their country should be glad that more people are interested in this important question of whom to hire for this powerful job.

What's insulting is assuming pople care more about sports than about matters of life and death. What's narrow-minded and uncultured is not caring about such things as mass murder, torture and rape, and whether we will be living in a free country, governed by laws.

    The Olympics don't promote peace.

I, personally, don't care at all about spectator sports. Why should I?

BTW, not everyone who considers life and death more important than who can run fastest is not a Democrat. Everyone who has any brain and compassion at all cares much more about life and death matters than who can jump farthest.

  10. Hmm, groundbreaking speech from the next president of the united states, or some trash thrown together by the Chinese that I didnt even like?

    Tough choice.

At least Obama had his real daughters out there, instead of replacing them because they aren't cute enough.

  11. So are u saying the Olympics are more important than the election?

  12. Obama had a speech? Well if he did, the news has been completely blown away with John McCain's VP pick!

  13. I'm not following why that is a bad thing or why the Fox noisemakers are trying to make it an issue.

  14. Well. If FOX is reporting it you might want to take into account

that it MIGHT be without any doubt. As if there would be doubt

you can bet your a*s that FOX would mention it.

And you're talking about numbers of narrow minded "un cultured"

idiots when you don't even know how to spell uncultured?

  15. Imagine that--more actually tuned in to one of the two men that will lead this country than tuned in to watch a theatrical performance.  Actually wanting to learn something about a candidate's position?  Where are our priorities?

  16. its not bad. you should be happy that so many people now care about their country, who's going to run it.

  17. Why wouldn't that make us proud? Picking a President is more important than the Olympics. If the Olympics were canceled, it wouldn't really affect us. If we had no president, our butts would be up a creek. So, you are saying that athletics are more important than our Government. Wow. I'm beginning to understand how Bush got elected twice.
