More and more fat people use the excuse that even if they don't eat they still gain weight?

I have a lot of fat friend who say they don't eat much.

Also on TV many say is a deases?

So i went with one of my fat friends to a restaurant and I swear he ate twice of what I ate. I didn't tell him anything. But dam! this guy was freaking ejoying himself.

I just think it's an addiction for food, kind of like cigarettes, alcohol and drugs.

I just wish fat people would stop putting excuses for the overweight problems and just admit they enjoy food and LOTS OF IT!

  1. They are a joke.  A certain small % have thyroid problems, most just go to McDonalds too often.

  3. I have to agree with you.  Every fat person Ive know swears up and down they dont eat alot, but Id sit and watch them devour whole pans of cheesy nachos, whole pizzas, and eat fast food 5-10 times a week.

    I used to weight 250 lbs, some was muscle, but most was flab.  I got sick and I lost 125 lbs in two years because I couldnt eat without getting sick, so I just never ate.   It is fact, obese people can easily cut their weight by 1/3 easily simply by reducing their caloric intake.  It doesnt even require excercise.

    Its simple logic.  That massive fat requires a number of calories to simply maintain their current weight.  Ask any athlete, especially long distance runners and swimmers.  They have trouble keeping on weight.

  4. They always say they have a "slow metabolism" as well lol.  They are just greedy!

    To put weight on you MUST be consuming more calories than you are using up, it's a scientific fact, obesity is NOT in your genes.  If your parents are fat the only way you get fat is by being overfed.

    Most fat people are in denial.

  5. It takes strong willpower to lose weight and they have to be ready. I don't know how it is to be really overweight, but I think the main problem is they have never learned proper portion sizes. So when they go out to eat and every meal is huge they think it's normal to eat that way at home as well.  It also has to do with genetics. Some kids take after their parents.

    he will always be fat, only thing he can do is loose weight and here is how he can do that:

    -stop eating...and i mean anything...and may i repet, anything, just drink multivitamin juices and those tablets, he will get energy from vitamins

  7. There are many different reasons for weight gain. Some people do eat too much, some have an addiction, some have slow metabolism. Sounds like you are one of the lucky people with a fast metabolism.

    It is unfair to judge people you do not understand, and why does it bother you so much that people are upset with their body. Can't you just be a supportive friend. I do know people who eat very little and still are the same big size. Not all people are the same.

I just gave a thumbs up to all of the answers.  I am obese but have only gained all this weight over the last few years.  When I quit smoking, I did not quit the "hand to mouth" routine.  Big mistake.  There are also other things going on, but bottom line is you will gain weight if you consume more calories than you burn.  Period.  To classify obesity as a "disease" is ridiculous.  It is gluttony, pure and simple except for the very few individuals that actually do have a physiological difference.  

  9. They way someone gets fat is in 2 ways, the increase in AMOUNT of fat cells, or the the increase in SIZE of fat cells. Now, the only time u can increase the AMOUNT of fat cells u have is when u are a kid, since the number of fat cells u have is determined by puberty. Therefore ppl that were fat in their childhood actually have MORE fat cells then u and i, and therefore gain weight easier since they have those extra storages. Thats why ppl who are really skinny can eat alot and cant gain that much weight, because they never gain as much fat cells in their childhood. Fat ppl are not only fat, but they gain weight easier because they have more fat storages.

  10. YEAH I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS ADDICTED TO FOOD..HAHHA I USED TO 260 POUNDS THEN I LOST LIKE 100 POUNDS AND I WAS AT 160 AND FORGOT ALL ABOUT FOOD AND I WAS NO LONGER ADDICTED TO IT.KNOW I COULD RESIST FOOD..LOL..THINGS CHANGE

Well they have started classifying obesity as a disease, but I do agree with you.  Excuses don't produce results.  I hear so many people complain about how much they hate their weight and I just think "well then fix it."  I used to struggle with my weight, but once you get a handle on it it's really quite easy to maintain.  I honestly think that people are just too lazy to change these days.  It's sad really.
