the wirless switch on my Acer laptop is blinking, showing it is on but for some reason my laptop will not detect any wireless networks. However, all the other laptops in my home seem to be picking up the internet fine. Help!
we need to determine if your wireless network adapter working byright click my computer icon then go to properties, click on hardware tab then device manager.it will show you a list of installed components, click the plus sign on you network adapters, you will see a sub category for the wireless adapter you can double click it to find its status whether it is working properly or not.i also need to know the brand and model of your laptop to determine if there is an updated driver for your built in wireless adapter....
Hi,My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5000When I click on Network Adapters, the only sub categories available are:1) Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter2) SiS 900 Based PCI Fast Ethernet AdapterI cannot see anything about a Wireless Adapter...Thank you for your help! It is much appreciated!
