how to simplify this one |-(-3)|

this one is soo coofusing......... is it just 3?

    BUT if the negative sign is out of | | like -| |..then the answer would be a negative


  2. The answer is (+)3.

    Two negatives (-) make a positive (+), so -(-3) = 3. Also, whenever you have an absolute value ( |  | ) around a number, it makes it a positive. So, |-(-3)| = 3
