7.892;tenths

16.01;tens

Now I need someone to answer this for me also in order to understand ones,tens, hundreds from tenths,hundredths it is the opposite right,I suppose to do the ones before the decimal and the tenths aftr the decimal trying to get it thanks again

  1. Yes, the ones with "th" at the end are to the right of the decimal point.

    hundred, ten, one (decimal point), tenth, hundredth, thousandth

    441.031;ones place  = 441 (think of it like the nearest whole dollar)

    7.892;tenths = 7.9

    0.58;tenths = 0.6

    5.5252;ones = 6

    16.01;tens = 20

    $10.65;ones = $11

    The number to the right of the place you are rounding to tells you whether you need to round up.  If it is 5 or more, you round up.
