More info needed

Question

Hi there--you responded to a question I posted on this site regarding my Dell computer. Basically, the disc drive is no longer recognized by the computer at all. It's not listed anywhere and the whole D drive is not anywhere to be found.

Your suggestion was to right click on My Computer and click "eject". Where in My Computer? I've gone to My Computer and looked for that option under CD/DVD and any options like it.

Can you tell me more?
